14. Golden State Warriors – Kris Murray, F, Iowa
With the real option that the Golden State Warriors could move on from Draymond Green this offseason, it wouldn’t be surprising if they tried to add to the frontcourt with a projected lottery pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. It should be noted, it would be shocking if this pick remained as a lottery pick. But, still, you get the idea.
Nevertheless, one player that could be an option is Kris Murray, the older brother of Keegan Murray, who was drafted last year in the top 5 by the Sacramento Kings. Kris is averaging 21 points and eight rebounds on 51 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent shooting from 3-point range during his junior season.
Is it insane to think that Kris can go in the lottery a year after his brother made a meteoric rise to the top 5 just a year ago? Maybe. But you can’t deny how productive and efficient Murray has been this season in Iowa. Plus, it would be a pretty good story if both played on the West Coast.
