17. Los Angeles Lakers (via New Orleans) – Jett Howard, F, Michigan

With the uncertainty that is revolving around the Los Angeles Lakers heading into the offseason, you can make a case that this is a team that should target a player in the frontcourt. One prospect that could make sense is Jett Howard.

Howard is averaging 15 points per game on 42 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s a player that could be of interest to the Lakers as they look for some young, fresh talent. If they keep the pick that is.

18. New York Knicks (via Dallas) – Max Lewis, F, Pepperdine

The New York Knicks are a team that has taken a step forward this season but is still looking for pieces that could round this team into a contender. While they probably aren’t going to find the team’s next star late in the first round, they could find a strong contributor.

One player that makes sense is Max Lewis, the high-scoring wing out of Pepperdine.
