5. Orlando Magic – Keyonte George, G, Baylor

Looking at the Orlando Magic roster, it’s clear that they need to find some direction in the backcourt. They have some promising pieces in the frontcourt with Paolo Banchero, Wendell Carter Jr., and Franz Wagner. Still, this is a team that has some big question marks in the backcourt.

And heading into the 2023 NBA Draft, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Magic tried to answer some of those questions with the No. 5 pick. One player that I would like as a fit for the Magic is Keyonte George, who is 17 points and five rebounds per game during his freshman year at Baylor.

The big question market revolving around George is his offensive efficiency. It’s something that he’s struggled with but he’s a player whose aggressiveness that the Magic could welcome. If the Magic could reel in some of that reckless aggressiveness, he’s a player that could work down the line for Orlando. And he may be worth the gamble in the top 5.
