Three ways that the addition of Kevin Love could help fix the Miami Heat heading into the stretch run. 

It was somewhat surprising that the Miami Heat decided not to make a move at the NBA Trade Deadline. This was a team that desperately needed to shake up its roster and the fact that they didn’t take advantage of the opportunity to do that at the trade deadline was somewhat curious. Perhaps that was due to a plan all along.

Now that the Heat has added Kevin Love and Cody Zeller via the buyout market, perhaps the team’s decision to stand pat at the trade deadline doesn’t look all that bad. Nevertheless, this is still a team that has plenty to figure out heading into the push toward the playoffs.

The Kevin Love addition to the Miami Heat could be extremely underrated

But the move for Love could end up being a move that catapults this team heading to the playoffs. It may be considered somewhat of an afterthought considering that Love is no longer the player he once was, but there is no question that he still has the capability to positively help a team.
