Kevin Love could bolster the Miami Heat’s 3-point shooting

At the NBA All-Star break, the Heat is currently the third-worst 3-point shooting team in the NBA. Adding another capable shooter at this point in the season has to help the team on that front. And that’s exactly what Kevin Love can do. There are many aspects of his game that have fallen off, but you’d have to assume that his shooting is something that will remain.

And through the 41 games that he played in Cleveland this season, Love was shooting 35 percent from 3-point range. It should be noted that he shot 39 percent from 3 last season and that he’s a career 37 percent shooter from deep. Love won’t single-handedly fix the Heat’s shooting issues, but he could be part of the solution.

At the very least, he will give the team another capable shooter. And that’s not something the team has had at the power forward position playing next to Bam Adebayo.
