Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns didn’t just make a big move at the NBA Trade Deadline, but they made THE move of the NBA Trade Deadline. By acquiring Kevin Durant, the Suns basically said that they were all-in on this season. They feel like this is their time to win a championship and they’ll have to prove that over the course of the next few months.

Durant is expected to be back soon and when he is, we’re going to get a good indication of what this team can be this season. Is it too much to expect the Suns to be a legit title contender? Will they need time to gel as a contender?

The interesting thing is that the Suns may need time to figure things out but they won’t get any. If the Suns don’t make a deep run in the playoffs, this season will largely be defined as a disappointment for a team that has a big four of Chris Paul, Durant, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton.
