8. Kris Murray, Iowa
As Keegan Murray’s older brother, Kris doesn’t get nearly the recognition that he deserves. But he’s improved every year that he’s been at Iowa and this is finally the year where it has been all about him. Keegan is in the NBA and it would be shocking if Kris wasn’t with him at this point next season. The question is, how high will Kris be drafted?
And that question could be answered depending how what type of performance that he has during the month of March. Iowa will need to play their way in to the NCAA Tournament and that means Kris coming up big for them. These are the moments that every prospect hopes for.
During his junior season, Kris is averaging 20 points and eight rebounds on 50 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent shooting from 3-point range. Considering where he was just a coupe of seasons ago, in which he was barely even seeing the floor, the strides that Kris has made in his game are outstanding.
His work ethic is something teams all around the Association should want.
