6. Cason Wallace, Kentucky

Almost as is the case every year, the Kentucky Wildcats have a good crop of young players that could begin to blossom toward the end of the season. During the month of March, one player to keep an eye on is Cason Wallace. He is just scratching the surface on the player that he can be and that’s something that should be attractive to any team looking for long-term potential in a prospect.

Wallace has great size for a guard and has proven that he can be a difference-maker on the defensive end of the floor. Even though he’s more known for his defensive prowess, Wallace has still put up solid overall offensive numbers – he’s averaging 12 points and four assists on 45 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent shooting from 3-point range.

If he can get hot and find his overall groove over the next few weeks, this is a player that can make a real move up draft boards.
