7. Gradey Dick, Kansas
The Kansas Jayhwaks have a good chance to repeat as NCAA champions. And with a reloaded freshman class, this is a team that is going to headline the Tournament. And one of the big names that has helped Kansas in their title defense is Gradey Dick. A highly touted player out of Kansas, he’s proven to be worth the hype during his freshman season with the Jayhawks.
Dick is averaging 15 points and five rebounds per game on 45 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent shooting from 3-point range. At least for me, what makes Dick that much more appealing as a prospect is his size. At 6-foot-8, Dick is an intriguing guard prospect heading into draft season.
He can solidify himself as a unanimous top 10 pick with a great showing during the month of March, into the NCAA Tournament. And as Kansas progresses in the postseason, he’s going to get the stage that could catapult him up draft boards.
