5. Serge Ibaka

After being traded from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Indiana Pacers at the NBA Trade Deadline, Serge Ibaka and the Pacers quickly agreed to a contract buyout. He was waived by the Pacers but still has not yet landed on a new team. But wherever he eventually signs, he will be eligible for the playoffs. The big question is whether or not he gets an opportunity.

It’s no surprise that Ibaka has not signed with a team yet. He is looking for the right spot and considering that he hasn’t played much in the last two seasons, it will be hard for him to find a team quickly. The likelihood is that Ibaka will have to wait for the rest of the buyout market to dry out a bit.

Ibaka only appeared in 16 games this season for the Bucks and averaged only four points and three rebounds on 33 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s only 33 years old and should catch on with a team but it simply may be a waiting game at this point.

Quite frankly, it’s anyone’s guess as to what Ibaka could offer a team at this point in his career.
