2. John Wall

When John Wall signed with the LA Clippers during the offseason, the belief was that he would be a great addition to a team that needed just one or two players to solidify itself as a championship contender in the Western Conference. Even though he had his moments during a Clippers uniform, the Wall experiment simply didn’t work out.

At the NBA Trade Deadline, the Clippers traded Wall to the Houston Rockets and he was waived shortly after. Now he’s looking for a new team ahead of the NBA Playoffs. Whether or not he’ll be able to find the right situation remains to be seen, but at just 32 years old you’d have to imagine that he does have something left in the tank.

Wall averaged 11 points and five assists on 41 percent shooting from the field in 34 games played this season in Los Angeles. To think that he can’t play at least a backup role for a playoff team would be somewhat foolish, but is there a team out there that needs point guard depth that also has an open roster spot?
