Golden State Warriors

The defending champion Golden State Warriors don’t necessarily have anything to prove. This is a team that won the championship last season and has won four championships in the last eight seasons. If this is it for this core or dynasty, they should be perfectly fine and at peace with what they managed to accomplish.

However, if they have any competitive juices left, this is a team that should strive for another run this season. They have the talent and hopefully, they will be healthy heading into the postseason. And in a relatively wide-open Western Conference, is there anyone that is going to overlook or count out the Warriors as a potential threat?

We know the Warriors have another gear to hit. This is a team that has been tested before and has overcome. The question is not a matter of if the Warriors have the capability to flip the switch heading into the playoffs, it’s whether they will or won’t.
