In the latest edition of our NBA Mock Draft, the San Antonio Spurs land Victor Wembanyama and the Toronto Raptors jump into the top 5.

March is here and that means that over the next few weeks, the expectation is that college basketball will be taking a bigger stage. And for many NBA fans, that means starting to take a closer look at the projected 2023 NBA Draft class and scouting out players that could be selections.

The NCAA Tournament is just around the corner and with the NBA’s regular season coming to an end, we’re getting a clearer indication of what we can expect as we inch closer and closer to the NBA Draft.

The new NBA draft lottery after one Tankathon simulation

In an attempt to spice things up with this most recent mock draft, I decided to use Tankathon’s NBA draft lottery simulation feature. The highlights from the results are as follows:

  • San Antonio Spurs jump two stops to No. 1
  • Houston Rockets fall one spot down to No. 2
  • Charlotte Hornets move one spot up to No. 3
  • Toronto Raptors, in the biggest and most notable move, jump into the top 4
  • Detroit Pistons drop three spots to No. 5
  • The rest of the lottery drops one spot due to Toronto’s rise

Let’s get to this week’s installment of our latest NBA Mock Draft.
