11. New Orleans Pelicans (via Los Angeles Lakers) – Cason Wallace, G, Kentucky

The New Orleans Pelicans got off to such a tremendous start but, once again, the injuries derailed what was supposed to be a breakout season for the team. But that’s not something the team could do much about. Adding another talented lottery player could help at least some on that front moving forward.

One potential target for the Pelicans at No. 11 could be Cason Wallace. He is far from a finished product but could be an interesting addition to New Orleans. He’s more of a finished product on the defensive end of the floor where he truly stands out as a player. But what separates him from other prospects is his overall potential.

Wallas has improved as a player and prospect throughout his freshman season at Kentucky. And the hope is that he will continue to make strides as a player as he makes his transition to the NBA level.
