13. Utah Jazz – Maxwell Lewis, G, Pepperdine
The Utah Jazz has been a pleasant surprise this season but it’s anyone’s guess as to how they’re going to operate once they get to the offseason. This is a team that could elect to go down a full rebuild or they could also continue to try to retool on the fly. One way they could do that is by hitting on their first-round draft pick.
One player that the Jazz could hope to try to hit on at No. 13 is Maxwell Lewis. As the pre-draft workouts get underway, he’s a player that is going to gain more and more steam as a draft prospect. With the way he’s risen as a prospect recently, we’re at the point where it would be a surprise if he didn’t go in the lottery.
The sophomore forward is averaging 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game on 47 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent shooting from 3-point range. He could be an excellent addition to a talented core.
