14. Los Angeles Lakers (via New Orleans) – Jett Howard, G, Michigan

With a lottery pick in this year’s NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers will be looking for a player that could probably help sooner rather than later. Even though that could prove to be difficult when selecting at No. 14 in the draft, there will be some diamonds that could be found in the middle-to-late in the first round.

One of them could be Jett Howard. During his freshman season, the 6-foot-8 guard is averaging 14 points and three rebounds on 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s also a player that could end up being a better pro than he’s been as a collegiate player – and he’s been a solid college player.

Howard is also Juwan’s son so the connection to the NBA will be strong. It would hardly be a surprise if a team like the Lakers decided to take a shot on Jett.
