3. Charlotte Hornets – Brandon Miller, F, Alabama

From a strict basketball standpoint, it seems as if Brandon Miller has pretty much separated himself as the clear No. 3 prospect in this year’s NBA Draft. He has helped lead Alabama to be one of the favorites to win the NCAA Tournament this season. He has shown the ability to carry a team with how talented he is.

Miller has drawn comparisons to some of the best NBA players of all time. He can score with ease and he has great size and athleticism as he eyes a move to the next level. He’s also the exact type of player that the Hornets need to help jump-star the team’s rebuild.

LaMelo Ball needs a supporting star in the worst way and it’s hard to look at this roster and find one at the moment. That means that Charlotte will likely have to do so via the NBA Draft. And if they do finish with a top 3 pick, it’s safe to say they’ll have a good shot of landing a player that could develop into a star.
