8. Orlando Magic (via Chicago) – Keyonte George, G, Baylor

After adding an athletic big or frontcourt player with their first pick in the top 10, look for the Orlando Magic to take a shot on a guard. There is much left to be settled in the backcourt and that much has been confirmed with the team’s reported interest in Fred VanVleet. One player that they could target to help on that front is Keyonte George.

At this point, George is more of a volume player but the talent is there for him to be much more at the NBA level. Once again, it will come down to George finding the right situation at the next level and then developing at a pace that is comfortable for him.

The Magic has a bright future and playing next to dynamic players such as Paolo Banchero, Wendell Carter Jr., and Franz Wagner could help George in the long run. It could be a good fit for both sides.
