7. LA Clippers

The LA Clippers check in at No. 7. This is a team that perhaps isn’t that disappointing and could certainly change the narrative around over the last few weeks of the regular season and into the postseason. However, if I told you that the Clippers would be the 8th seed in the Western Conference with less than 20 games remaining in the regular season, you probably would’ve asked me what happened.

And that’s where we are with the Clippers at the moment. They haven’t been a huge disappointment but there is a chance that this team ends up losing in the first round of the playoffs. And considering that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are relatively healthy, that would be a huge step back for this franchise.

Again, all of this could end up being moot if the Clippers close the regular season strong and make a deep playoff run. But at this point, that’s far from a guarantee. I’m not sure how this season ends for LA but there’s at least a chance it ends in utter disappointment.
