Denver Nuggets
Heading into the NBA playoffs, there are going to be a ton of questions that will be surrounding the Denver Nuggets. In what appears to be a wide-open race to the NBA Finals in the Western Conference, this has to theoretically be the year where the Nuggets breakthrough. They can’t afford to waste another MVP-caliber season from Nikola Jokic without at least a deep run in the postseason.
But there are some legit questions about this team that are outlined by this championship formula. They don’t have a top-10 defense. But perhaps it’s still good enough as it comes in ranked 12th in the league. Nevertheless, with a strong supporting cast around Jokic, the Nuggets should have as good of a shot as any other team in the West to make it to the NBA Finals.
The Nuggets do have the second-best offense in the league and the third-best net rating. That means this is a really good team. And if the team can remain healthy (which has been an issue for the team in the playoffs in the past), the Nuggets may end up winning it all.
