St. Louis has proven to be an elite sports city with a strong culture

The largest city in Missouri has been home to numerous sports teams in its history. From the ever-famous St. Louis Cardinals to the now Los Angeles Rams, they have a rich sports history that goes back over 100 years.

Even better, the city and the fans who live there have embraced every team to play there. The Cardinals are one of the most successful baseball teams in the MLB and the Blues have a huge fanbase. Even the Battle Hawks of the XFL have an incredibly loyal fanbase, even leading the entire league in sales.

The only stain on this statement is the relocation of the Rams who claimed that no team other than the Cardinals could succeed in the city. This has been proven incorrect numerous times and it was made after over a decade of clearly trying to relocate and not committing to their role as the football team of St. Louis.

With Ballpark Village, Busch Stadium, the Enterprise Center, and the newly opened Citypark all within a few blocks of each other, the culture of their sports teams can be felt at all times downtown. If you’ve ever been to a Cardinals home game, you know they have a lot of love for their team.
