Best team fit: Portland Trail Blazers

All in all, it’s hard not to look at this season as a disappointment for the Portland Trail Blazers. They retooled around Damian Lillard and the team is not going to be a playoff team this season. That’s a huge loss for the organization. If it wasn’t for Lillard’s unwavering loyalty, this would be an offseason in which he would demand a trade away from the team.

Nevertheless, the Blazers have another opportunity to try and find a quality prospect that could help the team right the ship heading into next season. One potential option that could also be a good fit for the team is Arkansas guard Anthony Black.

Black is another guard with great size that has shown the ability to be a prolific scorer during his freshman season at Arkansas. He seems like another prospect that could have the potential to be a really good player down the line.

The big question that the Blazers need to answer is whether or not they believe they can develop him quickly enough that he could make a big enough impact during the Lillard build. That should be Portland’s No. 1 priority right now.
