Best team fit: Houston Rockets

There are a ton of whispers that suggest the Houston Rockets have some internal issues that they need to sort out before they bring in another high-level prospect into their organization. However, I still want to give the benefit of the doubt to the Rockets. This is a team that has plenty of young talent and the capability to make a jump up the West standings next season. Even more so if they are able to land another top 3 pick.

Nevertheless, one player that would make sense for the Rockets is Amen Thompson. He’s a player that could come in and blossom with the skill set that he has. He could be the lead guard that the Rockets need next to Jalen Green. While Thompson has his concerns when it comes to his shooting efficiency and overall offensive game, there are a few things that we know about Thompson.

For one, he is a great playmaker and passer of the basketball. Because of his athleticism and size, he has the potential to be a really good defender at the guard position. The Rockets are a landing spot where Thompson can grow at his own pace and truly develop into his own as a player.
