Best team fit: Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been a pleasant surprise this season and this is a team that is finally beginning to blossom with all the young talent that they’ve assembled through the NBA Draft over the last few seasons. It’s actually great to see and you can only imagine how much better this team will be next season with a healthy Chet Holmgren and another lottery pick.

With how their roster is set up, I kind of like Cam Whitmore’s possibly fit with this team. Whitmore has proven that he should probably be a top 10 pick in this year’s NBA Draft and playing with this talented team in OKC would be an interesting situation for both sides.

Whitmore has great size and athleticism and has proven that he can shoot the 3-point shot at a consistent rate. He may need a year or two to truly develop into a legit contributor at the NBA level but the Thunder has proven to be able to develop young players effectively. Whitmore isn’t one of the headlining prospects but he has the chance to be a really good player. And the Thunder might be the right situation for him.
