2. Anthony Black – Arkansas

The Razorbacks have had a bit of a disappointing season, but the shining light has easily been their freshman guard, Anthony Black. Black has gone through periods of inconsistency this year, but when he is on, he is clearly the best true point guard in this draft class.

His 6-foot-7 frame allows him incredible court vision and there simply isn’t a pass that he cannot make. That same frame allows him to be an elite perimeter defender as well and if opposing players aren’t careful, he can easily pick your pocket based on his two steals per game.

His shooting touch and mechanics still leave much to be desired (hence the Lonzo Ball comparisons) but with the help of NBA shooting coaches, it is a problem that is capable of being fixed.

Black has one of the highest basketball IQs in the draft and if your team is looking for a  point guard, the Arkansas guard is certainly someone to watch in the tournament.

Black and the Razorbacks tip-off against Illinois at 3:30 pm on Thursday, March 16.
