8. Jalen Hood-Schifino- Indiana
Jalen Hood-Schifino is one of the most high-level prospects playing college ball this year and can light it up any night he suits up. His strength is in the pick-and-roll game and the Indiana guard is an exceptional pull-up jump shooter off of it. While he is at his best in the mid-range game, he will have to extend his pull-up prowess to behind the arc once he enters the league.
Hood-Schifino is a great defender as well. With a 6 -foot-6 frame and muscular upper body that allows him to absorb contact, he has the ability to match up and poke away the ball against anyone on the court.
While he can light up on a dime, he can just as easily struggle to throw it in the ocean. While he’s scored 35 and 33 in fireball outings this year, he’s also come out with inefficient performances with as little as two points in high-level Big Ten matchups.
Hood-Schifino and the Hoosiers tipoff against Kent State at 8:55 pm on Friday, March 17.
