29. Indiana Pacers (via Boston) – Marcus Sasser, G, Houston

With another first-round pick, the Indiana Pacers could get creative here. And one interesting prospect that I believe is worthy of a first-round selection is Marcus Sasser. The engine of one of the most exciting teams in college basketball, Sasser 17 points per game on 38 percent shooting from 3-point range.

I believe Sasser is a player that could carve out a definite role for a team at the next level, even if it is just in the way of a microwave-type of a scorer off the bench.

30. LA Clippers (via Milwaukee) – Kyle Filipowski, F, Duke

With the final pick in the first round of our NBA Mock Draft, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the LA Clippers take a flier on an interesting prospect such as Kyle Filipowksi. He’s really flashed some recently for Duke and averaged 15 points and nine rebounds per game on 44 percent shooting from the field during his freshman season.

At 7 feet tall, it’ll be interesting to see how he continues to develop and blossom as a player. He’s a prospect that could end up paying dividends for the Clippers down the road.
