3. LA Clippers*

I have the LA Clippers checking in at No. 3 on this list because I believe they will have a chance to be quite dangerous. But a lot of that reasoning will lose its weight if Paul George does not return for the playoffs. If he remains out, which there is a possibility that he will, you can probably eliminate the Clippers from the top 3. If PG is back, the Clippers could be quite dangerous in a seven-game series.

If both teams are healthy heading into a possible playoff matchup, you can make the argument that the Warriors have the best player but then the Clippers have the second and third best. It would be quite the series to watch and considering that the Warriors are likely going to be short-handed (with the continued absence of Andrew Wiggins), there’s a strong case to be made that LA would win that series.

To see a series between the Clippers and Warriors, the Clippers would have to finish as the 4th seed and the Warriors would have to jump the Suns for the 5th seed. Or you can even swap the Warriors and Clippers in the standings.

If the Suns end up playing it safe with Kevin Durant as he returns from injury, it could be a possibility.
