Jones is In the latest edition of our NBA Mock Draft, the Detroit Pistons create a young super team after selecting Victor Wembanyama and a big name is traded.

We’re inching closer and closer to the end of the NBA season and that only means the urgency surrounding the 2023 NBA Draft is only going to rise. For many teams in the league, while others prepare for the NBA Playoffs, the pre-draft process has already begun.

And in what appears to be a top-heavy NBA Draft class, there are many teams that will be holding out hope for some luck on NBA Draft Lottery night. Every lottery team is hoping they can land the No. 1 overall draft pick, which would directly change the trajectory of every franchise.

A new 2023 NBA Mock Draft

Of course, that is if Victor Wembanyama is the prospect that many believe him to be. Let’s get to the latest edition of our NBA Mock Draft in which a big name is traded (keep an eye out for the move).

1. Detroit Pistons – Victor Wembanyama, C, France

If the Pistons end up landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, we could be looking at the NBA’s next young super team. Add Victor to an already good core of Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren, James Wiseman, and Marvin Bagley, and this Pistons team could emerge as an extremely dangerous team next season in the Eastern Conference.

At least on paper, there’s a very real chance that the Pistons quickly become NBA’s “next” team. Even more so if they can land Victor Wembanyama.
