10. Toronto Raptors – Keyonte George, G, Baylor
With now their second pick of the top 10, the Toronto Raptors would be able to continue to retool their roster, perhaps in more of a youth movement. Under the assumption that they could lose OG Anunoby, Fred VanVleet, and Gary Trent Jr. all this offseason, there’s a chance that we see the Raptors completely turn their roster over in an attempt to enter a new era for the franchise. And it could include a new rebuild around Scottie Barnes.
Could the Raptors head into next season with a core of Pascal Siakam, Nick Smith Jr., Keyonte George, and Barnes? It’s not likely that it will feature those exact players but there’s a chance the Raptors could be ready for what is to come. Knowing how this franchise runs, it would not be shocking if they decide to make big moves at the NBA Draft.
George would add another guard that has the potential to fill up the stat sheet. During his freshman season at Baylor, he struggled with his efficiency. If he can figure that out, George will have the opportunity to be a really good player in the NBA.
