17. Los Angeles Lakers – Maxwell Lewis, F, Pepperdine

I’m probably a bit higher on Maxwell Lewis and his potential heading into the NBA; I can see him rising to a late-lottery selection too. Lewis has the potential to be a 3-and-D player at the next level assuming he can be consistent on both fronts. During his sophomore season, he averaged 17 points on 35 percent shooting from 3-point range.

The Lakers have plenty of questions to answer this offseason, but adding a quality prospect late in the lottery is a must for this team (whatever their future holds post-LeBron). The Lakers would be getting a solid prospect in Lewis

18. Golden State Warriors – Noah Clowney, F, Alabama

With big questions surrounding this team’s future in the frontcourt, even more so after the team elected to trade James Wiseman at the NBA Trade Deadline, this is a team that could look to add a big at the NBA Draft. And if Noah Clowney is still around when the Warriors go on the clock, he could be a solid addition to the team.

Clowney is still relatively raw as a prospect but is a player that could be developed nicely by the Warriors. He’s coming off a freshman season in which he averaged 10 points and eight rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field.
