29. Indiana Pacers (via Boston Celtics) – Colby Jones, G, Xavier

After making a couple of additions to their frontcourt (via a simulated trade for OG Anunoby and then by taking Trayce Jackson-Davis, it wouldn’t be surprised to see the Pacers take a shot on Colby Jones, an interesting guard prospect out of Xavier, with this late first-round pick.

Jones is one of the more experienced prospects to come out of this draft but despite his productivity in college, the consensus is that he may not have as high of a ceiling as some of his contemporaries. But that shouldn’t matter for a player taken at this point in the NBA Draft.

30. LA Clippers (via Milwaukee Bucks) – Dereck Lively, C, Duke

Despite the fact that he could be selected at some point in the first round, there’s still a chance that Dereck Lievely ends up returning to school. But if he doesn’t, he’s an interesting big-man prospect that could be worth the gamble in the long run. And the LA Clippers could be willing to make such the roll of a dice on him.
