Ranking the nine NBA teams with the best chance to win the championship this season. 

The 2022-23 NBA regular season did not disappoint. Led by a hectic NBA MVP race, this was one of the more intriguing regular seasons the NBA has had in a while. As we come closer and closer to the start of playoffs, true contenders will begin to separate themselves from the pack.

I will be ranking NBA title contenders into three groups, starting with the dark horse championship contenders and leading to the best of the best.

9. LA Clippers

Since the Kawhi Leonard and Paul George era started, there have been a lot of inconveniences for LA that usually happen right around playoff time. The chances of this team all depend on the health and chemistry because the talent is all there.

The Clippers used the trade deadline to reshape their roster a bit. It will be intriguing to see how the dominos fall for the Clippers. They seem to be in a similar situation to Philly, but with even more to prove.

8. Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies have had a lot of drama recently with Ja Morant’s whole situation and they look ready just to play basketball now. This a tough and young team with a bright future, but this may be another year of disappointment for Memphis. They certainly have the tools to make a run, but I can’t picture them coming out of the West in any situation, despite finishing toward the top of the standings again.
