There are six NBA stars that could go a long way in cementing their legacies as all-time greats with big performances this postseason.

The NBA has taken an interesting turn over the last couple of decades. When talking about players and their respective legacies, it’s almost all about rings. It’s the reason why Michael Jordan is an untouchable greatest of all time and why we’ve seen a recent string of superstars demanding trades to better championship situations. It’s been both good and bad for the league overall.

But we’re not going to argue about that recent swing in the league. That’s for another article another day. What we will touch on are players that are heading into a postseason where they can all but cement their legacies as all-time greats.

The NBA Playoffs begin in less than two weeks

The NBA Playoffs officially begin next Saturday, April 15. It is preceded by the NBA Play-In Tournament that will begin on Tuesday, April 11, and run through the 14.

With the NBA postseason drawing closer and closer, we explore six players who are playing for legacy over the next few months.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks

You can easily say that Giannis Antetokounmpo is already considered one of the all-time greats. And you wouldn’t be wrong in making that argument. However, if he were to add a second championship to his resume, there would be no denying his greatness. And, perhaps most importantly, he would enter the conversation as a top 10 player of all time.

He would still need the longevity to complete that case, but if Giannis can win a second championship for the Milwaukee Bucks, there’s not much denying his impact on the game. Giannis changed the game with his unique skill set. But it’s his dominance that has set him apart.
