14. Toronto Raptors – Keyonte George, G, Baylor

With as much uncertainty that surrounds the Toronto Raptors, it will be interesting to see how they approach the offseason. And specifically, the NBA Draft. They are likely going to be selecting around the lottery range and it’s anyone’s guess as to how this team will operate. What we do know is that there’s a chance this team could be at the beginning of another retooling, perhaps this time around Scottie Barnes.

One player that they could take a chance on in anticipation of a fresh start is Keyonte George, an offensive-minded guard out of Baylor. There’s an argument to be made that George is one of the best individual offensive creators in this year’s NBA Draft class. George averaged 15 points, four rebounds, and three assists on 38 percent shooting from the floor. Overall, he was effective and an important part of Baylor’s success.

If he can improve his decision-making and overall offensive efficiency, there’s no question that George could emerge as a great player down the road. But that’s a big question. His shooting percentages that he posted during his freshman season at Baylor were certainly concerning.
