9. Orlando Magic – Gradey Dick, G/F, Kansas

While the Orlando Magic would love to get their hands on a point guard or more of a playmaker, Gradey Dick would also be an excellent selection at this point in the NBA Draft. Plus, it wouldn’t make sense for the Magic to reach with five of the top guard prospects already off the board. Dick still would offer something that could be beneficial for an emerging Magic team with his efficient shooting and size in the backcourt.

Dick is coming off a freshman season in which he averaged 14 points and five rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s proven to be one of the more efficient scorers in this year’s NBA Draft class and would be an immediate help for any team, including the Magic.

Heading into next season, the Magic will be looking to make a move up the Eastern Conference standings and Dick could give this team some added depth as they hope to take the next step. The Magic have a solid foundation and adding depth (along with continued development) is what this offseason will be about for them.
