Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

As a solid veteran and consummate professional, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope brings leadership and plenty of playoff experience. He also has championship experience as he was a member of the 2019-20 Los Angeles Lakers squad that won the title in the NBA bubble playoffs.

KCP knows what it takes to win in the postseason and a player in his role can become a dangerous commodity, especially with his shooting ability. He is a big guard with good size who can defend. He is a perfect fit in the Nuggets system and is very effective on fast breaks with his ability to run and gun. KCP can also make 3-pointers at a high percentage as he has shot 42 percent on the season. He is capable of stretching the floor and is capable of guarding the opposing team’s best player.

The fit and chemistry with KCP and his teammates will be difficult for any opponent to overcome in a 7-game series. Expect him to show the true value of being an experienced playoff performer and if the Nuggets advance deep into the postseason, his contributions will end up being a huge reason why.
