Bold prediction No. 2: De’Aaron Fox will have a coming-out party

In addition to Domantas Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox is a big part of the Kings’ success this season. In what has been his best season to date, Fox is coming off a season in which he averaged 25 points, six assists, and four rebounds per game on 51 percent shooting from the field. He helped lead a resurgence for the Kings in which they are heading into the playoffs with quite a large chip on their shoulder.

They won’t have many outside their fanbase believing in them but this is a team that is going to surprise many when they get the national spotlight (in part due to playing the Warriors). And one player that I predict will benefit the most is De’Aaron Fox. I predict that he’s going to have somewhat of a coming-out party against the Warriors.

Fox is going to be introduced to the national audience and, quite honestly, this is something that he deserves. He’s one of the most underrated players in the NBA and now that he has a bigger platform, the rest of the nation will get to see just how good of a player he is.

He has the tall task of matching up with Curry. Can he replicate his production in this series? If he can, the Kings will advance.
