I don’t think anyone would argue with the fact that the Boston Celtics have one of the most talented rosters in the league. Led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, it’s no surprise that the Celtics are one of the favorites to win a championship. But what makes this team special is their supporting cast. And what possibly makes this specific Celtics team different is the offseason addition of Malcolm Brogdon.

It was somewhat of an overlooked move during the offseason but could end up being the biggest difference from them losing a championship last season to winning one this season. And I predict that we’re going to realize how big of a move that was last summer. Brogdon will quickly emerge as one of the most important postseason players for the Celtics.

He’s arguably been that for the Celtics during the regular season but I believe we’re going to see that on an entirely different level once the playoffs begin. Boston will have a great shot to win a title this season and Brogdon will play a big part in doing so.
