Bold prediction No. 2: Kevin Durant will look like the best player in the world

Kevin Durant has been absurdly good this season and I feel like no one has really talked about it much, largely due to the fact that he’s missed 35 games this season due to injury. Since being traded to Phoenix, the Suns are 8-0 in games that KD plays. In those games, KD is averaging 26 points, six rebounds, and four assists on 57 percent shooting from the field and 53 percent shooting from 3-point range.

It’s almost impossible to account for both KD and Devin Booker when the Suns are healthy. In this series against the Clippers, I believe that’s going to be a theme that continues. Assuming that the Suns can remain healthy, this is a team that is going to be nearly impossible to beat in a seven-game series. And KD is an element that may end up putting this team over the top this season.

I predict that KD is going to prove, once again, that he’s arguably the best player in the NBA. On a contending team with a capable supporting cast, I believe we’re going to see KD at his best. And he’s going to deliver.
