4. Charlotte Hornets – Brandon Miller, F, Alabama

With the way this draft board has fallen, the Charlotte Hornets have to be excited about their chance to select Brandon Miller with the No. 4 overall pick. There’s a chance that Miller could go as high as No. 2 but there is reason to believe that perhaps Miller could fall all the way out of the top 3 depending on how he and other prospects measure up during the pre-draft process.

Could the Hornets get somewhat of a steal by taking Miller outside the top 3? It’d be a surprise considering how great of a freshman season Miller had at Alabama but also not that surprising on the other hand considering how good some of his contemporaries are as well. And Miller could be exactly what the Hornets need a supporting star next to LaMelo Ball.

Miller could be the replacement that the Hornets have needed since they moved on from Miles Bridges and while he may not be as productive as he was during his final season with the team, he does have a higher ceiling than him. And that’s something the Hornets should feel good about if they select him at No. 4.
