OG Anunoby, Toronto Raptors

If the Dallas Mavericks were looking to make a big splash this offseason via trade, OG Anunoby is the player to keep an eye on. He fits what the Mavs need perfectly and could be a prime player that the Toronto Raptors end up trading at some point this summer as they have some big questions to answer of their own. A trio of Kyrie, Luka, and OG would be quite interesting in the Western Conference.

He would effectively improve the team’s defense as soon as he walks on the floor and would bring an added level of toughness that the team could also be in search of this offseason. He doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be effective on the offensive end but could also thrive in such a role. The big question is whether the Mavs have enough trade assets to complete such a move.

Any deal for Anunoby is likely going to have to involve draft picks. Would Dallas be open to throwing two or three future first-round picks to the Raptors to get a deal done? That remains to be seen or if they could even pull that off.
