9. Utah Jazz – Cam Whitmore, F, Villanova

The Utah Jazz is another team that will have a ton of flexibility when it comes to deciding who to pick in the top 10. At the same time, this is a team that should be betting on potential. And at this point in the NBA Draft, one player that continues to rise up draft boards because of that high-ceiling potential is Cam Whitmore. He has great size at 6-foot-7 and great length.

What teams will like most about Whitmore is the fact that he could play all over the floor. He measures out to be a good defender and has shown the potential to be a really good player on the offensive end. The big questions about Whitmore surround his shooting and whether or not he’ll be able to be consistent enough at the next level.

He only shot 34 percent from 3-point range. If he can prove that he can be an above-average shooter from deep, there’s a chance that Whitmore could end up developing into one of the steals of the first round.

And in Utah, Whitmore will have the freedom and opportunity to really grow into his game.
