2. Brice Sensabaugh, Ohio State
For all the concerns that there may be about some of the players on this list and their ability to be difference-makers at the next level, there aren’t that many of those red flags so to speak for Brice Sensabaugh. Even though he’s somewhat of a surprising riser, there are many aspects of his game that are going to be appealing to NBA teams. For one, he’s 6-foot-6 and is, at the very least, going to be a good two-way player at the next level. He has the athleticism and tools to be a good and versatile defender.
Offensively is where the questions land. He isn’t labeled as one of the better athletes in this year’s class and can struggle to gain separation from defenders. That said, it’s hard to argue with the numbers he posted during his freshman season at Ohio State. Sensabaugh averaged 16 points and five rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent shooting from 3-point range.
If he is just beginning to blossom as a prospect, the sky is the limit for Sensabaugh. And with a good foundation, there’s a shot that he has a chance to be a star at the next level.
