NBA Trade Rumors: Exploring who the Houston Rockets should be open to trading Jalen Green for.

There are a handful of teams that are expected to be aggressive heading into the offseason. One of those teams appears to be the Houston Rockets. Whether it’s via the NBA Draft, free agency, or the trade market, it seems that this is a team that intends to make significant improvements to the roster this offseason.

Or, at least that’ll be the plan. Whether the Rockets will be able to pull it off remains to be seen. The Rockets have been linked to Jaylen Brown, James Harden, and Khris Middleton and the offseason isn’t even here yet officially.

Oh, and it’s been reported that they’re open to trading Jalen Green, the team’s former second-overall pick, if the right deal emerges during the offseason. With that in mind, we explore eight star-level players that the Rockets should be willing to trade Green for.

Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans

In the event that the New Orleans Pelicans explore somewhat of a retooling this offseason, which may or may not happen, the Rockets should be open to listening to what they would want for Brandon Ingram. He has two years remaining on his contract and his situation with New Orleans warrants attention.

Would the Pelicans be open to a package of Jalen Green, another young player or two, and a couple of future first-round picks for Ingram? If Houston is serious about adding a veteran star, they should be in such a deal.
