Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves

Heading into the offseason, who knows what the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to do? Will they try to retool around Anthony Edwards? Will they try to get out from under Rudy Gobert? Could there be a scenario where they end up shopping Karl-Anthony Towns to see what they could get? Even though I’m not sure how likely that is, I also don’t believe it’s something we can completely disqualify from happening.

If so, the Rockets should be open to trade packages centered around a Jalen Green for KAT swap. I’m not sure if the Wolves would be interested in that – I’m not sure how well Green and Edwards would fit together, but the Rockets should throw it out there and see what the response is.

KAT has had his struggles throughout his young career. However, if there is one thing that KAT is, it’s that he’s immensely talented. And that’s something that should be of interest to the young Rockets. KAT would come in and improve the team from a talent perspective and I firmly believe that he can be an effective No. 2 for a really good team.
