Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics

The Houston Rockets have already been linked to Jaylen Brown so him popping up on this list should not be surprising. And if it gets to a point this offseason where Brown either demands a trade or the Celtics see the writing on the wall and elect to shop him, the Rockets should be one of the teams ready to pounce. Brown is a really good player and deserves a chance to be the No. 1 on a team. That’s the biggest thing that the Rockets could give him.

There’s no guarantee that the Celtics would be interested in Jalen Green, especially considering that they’ll be looking for another established star to pair with Jayson Tatum, but it could spark a conversation between the two teams. Brown would be a young, exciting star that Houston could rally around as they look to make the leap back to relevance.

It would not be surprising if the Rockets tried to make a pursuit of Brown a priority for the team this offseason. Of course, that would mean a few things falling into place first. With the first step being a Brown trade demand or request.
