25. Memphis Grizzlies – Maxwell Lewis, F, Pepperdine
After a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, the Memphis Grizzlies are heading into the offseason with a clear need for some adjustments. Something needs to change for the Grizzlies as they took a step back this season. In an attempt to add more depth on the wing, Maxwell Lewis is a prospect that could be in play for the Grizzlies at the draft.
At the very least, Lewis would give the Grizzlies a prospect that could grow into a 3-and-D role for the team. He could be the eventual successor for Dillon Brooks, who may or may not be re-signed by the team this summer.
26. Indiana Pacers (via Cleveland Cavaliers) – Dariq Whitehead, F, Duke
With another first-round pick, the Indiana Pacers could look to add some depth on the wing. One high-ceiling prospect that remains on the board at this point in the NBA Draft could very well be Dariq Whitehead. He’s a good 3-point shooter and projects to be a good defender at the next level.
The big question is whether he’ll be much more than that. The Pacers should be willing to roll the dice on Whitehead. He’s another player that could end up paying dividends for a young team that is on the rise.
