27. Charlotte Hornets (via Denver Nuggets) – Sidy Cissoko, G, France

The Charlotte Hornets should be willing to roll the dice on high-risk, high-reward prospects at this point in the NBA Draft. And one player that could fit that description late in the first round is Sidy Cissoko. Known as more of a defensive-minded slasher at this point in his development, the Hornets should take a flier on his long-term potential.

He has the potential to be an interesting player down the line and considering there would be no pressure for him to contribute right away, Charlotte could be one of the best landing spots for Cissoko.

28. Utah Jazz (via Philadelphia 76ers) – Julian Strawther, F, Gonzaga

Julian Strawther is an interesting draft prospect that I could see taken anywhere from just outside the lottery to even the second round. He is a good shooter and that’s what ultimately will get him drafted. That said, it’s his potential when it comes to the other aspects of his game that could help him become a true difference-maker at the next level.

The Jazz taking a shot on Strawther’s long-term potential could be worth it for them. He’d get an opportunity to prove his worth on a rebuilding team as one of the more experienced draft prospects in this draft class as well.
