After going down 0-2 in their Western Conference semifinals series against the Denver Nuggets, the Phoenix Suns now face improbable odds to climb out of the hole in which they’ve found themselves.

Sure, a fourth seed going up against the No. 1 team in their conference will almost always be the underdog barring some insane injury luck. Most No. 4 seeds usually don’t contain a core that was competing for a title just two years ago before adding a two-time Finals MVP like the Phoenix Suns did with Kevin Durant, however.

While the Denver Nuggets were the favorites in the series, it’s hard to consider any team that has KD, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Chris Paul a true underdog. Many casual fans may have sided with Phoenix behind the strength of their household names alone. But, through two games, the Nuggets have dominated this series behind their depth and the magnificent play of two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

With their backs against the wall, does Phoenix have any hope to pull off a comeback down 0-2 to the Nuggets?
